Hexed Holler Collective

Hexed Holler is a creative studio rooted in community, curiosity, and connection.

It’s a space for people to make things, try new ideas, and come together in a way that feels real. Part studio, part gathering place, part ever-evolving creative hub.

Some come here to create.
Some come here to learn.
Some just come to be around something different.

However you find your way here, you’re welcome.

who we are

Hexed Holler Collective was created from a simple desire: to build a place where creativity, curiosity, and community can exist together.

It is a space designed for creative expression in many forms. Writing, music, movement, exploration, and new ideas. People come here to gather, experiment, learn, and feel inspired by the creativity around them.

Located in Zanesville, Ohio, Hexed Holler Collective is more than just a studio. It is a flexible environment where photographers, artists, creators, and curious minds can bring ideas to life.

Whether renting the studio, attending a workshop, or learning life-saving skills through CPR, BLS, and First Aid classes, the goal remains the same. To create an environment where people feel welcome, supported, and inspired.

  • Hexed Holler Collective was created to be a place where creativity, curiosity, and community can exist together.

It’s a space for people to create, experiment, and connect. Photographers, artists, small business owners, and curious minds are all welcome here.

More than just a studio, it’s a flexible environment designed to bring ideas to life. Whether you’re renting the space, attending a workshop, or learning something new, the goal is always the same. To create something meaningful and to be part of something real.

  • Creativity should be accessible, not exclusive.
Community should feel real, not performative.
Learning should be shared, hands-on, and evolving.
People deserve spaces where they feel welcome, supported, and safe to try something new.

Hexed Holler exists to bring people together. To share skills, explore ideas, and build something alongside others.

  • Hexed Holler was built from a desire to create the kind of space that didn’t seem to exist locally.

A space rooted in creativity, but also in connection. One that blends art, learning, and real community instead of separating them.

It grew from a love of creative expression in all forms. Writing, music, movement, and exploring new ideas. And from the belief that those things are better when shared.

What started as an idea has become a space meant to grow with the people who use it.

Meet the Founder

Hexed Holler was created by Sara Becker.

Her life has never fit into one box, and that’s exactly the point. From healthcare and emergency services to bartending, creative work, learning, teaching, and building community, she has always followed what felt meaningful rather than what felt expected.

Sara has served her community as a firefighter and EMT since the age of 18, and continues her work in healthcare through medical billing. That foundation shaped how she moves through the world. With care, resilience, and a deep understanding of what people carry.

She values both devotion and balance. Showing up for others, while also learning how to show up for herself in the same breath.

She’s also a mother, and at one point navigated life as a single parent while continuing to build and grow. Her life has been shaped in real time. Not from perfect conditions, but from showing up anyway. Through growth, through chaos, and through learning as she goes.

Her work is influenced by her ancestry, storytelling traditions, and a deep curiosity about how people live, create, and connect. There’s a strong pull toward folklore, mythology, plants, and the unseen threads that tie people to place and to each other.

She moves through the world with respect for the people, land, and life around her, guided by a deep curiosity for it all.

There’s an Appalachian thread woven through it. A connection to the land, to gardens and herbs, to chickens in the yard, to old stories, small rituals, and superstitions that still feel true.

Creativity has always been a constant. Writing poetry, music, movement, photography, and exploring new ideas. Over time, that turned into something bigger. A desire to create not just for herself, but to build spaces where others feel safe to do the same.

Hexed Holler is an extension of that. A space where creativity, learning, and connection exist in the same place. Where people can gather, experiment, and feel supported in trying something new.

She believes it’s never too late to start something. Especially for those who weren’t sure they’d make it this far in the first place.

She’s not interested in doing things the traditional way. She’s interested in doing them in a way that actually works.

Outside of the studio, she finds joy in everyday life. Gardening, tending to her animals, writing, traveling, and building a life with her family.

If she doesn’t have the answer, she’ll find someone who does. If there’s a way to connect people, create opportunity, or build something meaningful, she’s already working on it.
